POM is used in this flange wheel because it is a strong, hard, but above all dimensionally stable plastic with a very low frictional resistance. This is ideal for use in horticulture and application on aluminium or steel tubes.
In addition, it has exceptional resilient qualities as a result of which it absorbs heavy impacts and vibrations. It also has good chemical resistance to oils and fuels. Its low moisture absorption and excellent mechanical properties guarantee flange rollers that stay perfectly to size.
