Ladder wheel:
This ladder wheel / suspended castor has a grey non-striping thermoplastic rubber tyre. This prevents streaking on your floors. The polyamide wheel core together with the precision ball bearing ensure that the ladder wheel can carry quite a few kilos. The wheel can be ordered in a castor and a fixed-wheel variant with different load capacities.
Advantages: When the castors are loaded, a spring is pressed down, making the ladder fixed to the ground. This makes the ladder wheel rollable up to 2 kg. But nailed to the ground when the wheel is loaded more heavily.
Applications: Although the wheels are mainly used under ladders, they can also be seen under stools, steps and doggies. At approx. 17 kg load, the spring is compressed by a maximum of 22 mm. The mounting plate can be rotated by 90°.
Suitable surface: The castors roll ideally on a flat surface or with minor unevenness. The non-striping belt can be used virtually all indoor floors such as ceramic tiles, linoleum, marble, concrete or parquet.
Suitable environment: Dry and not permanently damp. Can also be used with light acids and alkalis. This makes the ladder wheel suitable for (semi-)industrial environments.
